Our Dream Cabin is located in Franklin North Carolina. Franklin is in Western North Carolina surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest.

Franklin is well known for its gem mining and it?s natural beauty of its surrounding misty mountains. Well located, Franklin is right over Georgia?s state line and about an hour?s drive from Tennessee. There are numerous trails and natural attractions in Western North Carolina.

Bird Watching

Here are some pictures of our closest neighbor. This baby hawk is nested in a water oak not far from the front door of Our Dream Cabin! There are many more species of birds too including a pileated woodpecker.. Sit on the porch and watch all day long.
